Hey, Sailor!

I received a very special delivery the other day. A belated birthday gift from my aunt. She went into MAC and picked up a few items from the Hey, Sailor! collection which was very, very nice of her.
Here's what I got:

Lipstick in Sail La Vie- a lovely bright coral colour

High-light Powder in Crew- a very soft, with a pinky sheen, powder

Pigment in Naval Blue- a true navy blue fine pigment

Swatches of the products. It's kinda hard to see the high-light powder, you can just make out a slightly pink tinge on my hand.

I haven't really had the time to play around with them yet but I'm excited to try the pigment with my Illamasqua Scribe eyeliner. I love the packaging and I am a sucker for all things nautical so I was always gonna be drawn in by this collection. It's not in stores yet in the UAE so I may be tempted to pick up a few things myself when it does. I have my eye on the Old Gold pigment. I do think the selection of lipstick colours isn't actually that great and my aunt said she found it hard to pick between Sail La Vie and Red Racer but eventually choose the former based on the fact I have quite a lot of red lipstick. I will definitely be going in for a close look at the other two ( To Catch A Sailor and Salute!) when it launches here.

Anyone else been tempted by the Hey, Sailor! collection?
